Ms. Williams also provides general counsel services to small- and mid-sized businesses. Through her time in litigation, Ms. Williams has come to believe that much litigation can be avoided through advice and implementation on best practices. With her breadth of litigation experience, Ms. Williams can help small and mid-sized companies develop strategies to avoid and/or minimize the impact of litigation. Ms. Williams regularly reviews employment policies and procedures to help implement best practices to avoid potential liability for violations of wage and hour laws. Ms. Williams also routinely reviews:

- Copyright applications
- Prepares agreements disposing of disputes in early stages
Education & Experience
Ms. Williams received her Juris Doctor degree from the University of California, Los Angeles. While in law school, Ms. Williams was a managing editor for the Entertainment Law Review and Journal of International and Foreign Affairs. Ms. Williams obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics (with honors) and Political Science from the University of California, San Diego. Ms. Williams was admitted to the California Bar in November of 2006, and is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Central District of California, the United States District Court for Colorado, and the U.S Court of Appeals for the First, Second, Sixth, and Ninth Circuits. Ms. Williams is currently enrolled in the LLM in Taxation program at the University of San Diego to maximize her taxation knowledge and best serve her estate planning clients.
